Telugu actresses Saira Banu, Labala Jyothi Lakshmi and seven others were arrested in a prostitution racket busted by Hyderabad police on Monday.
The actresses were caught at a flat in the fourth floor of the Spring Heaven Apartments, at Umanagar, Begumpet on Sunday night.
Apparently the main racketeer was a film dubbing assistant who used to supply the girls with clients.
Saira Banu told the media that she had been called by assistant director Kanakaparthy Ravi has asked her to go to the apartment to discuss a film script. Jyothi also claimed to have the same tale.
