Shaji Kailas the director who specializes in cop stories is teaming up with his favourite actor Suresh Gopi once again. The film titled Time is an out and out investigative police story. Gopi plays Appan Menon an IPS officer loosely modeled on Hrishiraj Singh the dare-devil Kerala cadre policeman who shot to limelight by raiding Riyan studio. Singh had unearthed the nexus between Riyan studio owned by Anita,wife of Thomas Tachankary another IPS officer and illegal video pirates!
Here Gopi as Appan Menon (see pic) has the Hrishiraj Singh look with a walrus moustache. Padmapriya plays Susan Thomas a social crusader while Vimala Raman plays Janaki who is Appan’s childhood sweetheart and now wife.
