According to the latest Bollywood News, Bollywood Actor Imran Khan is now trying to prove his bestmarketing skills by promoting 2 of his movies at one time.. By mouthing the word ‘Fugly’ several times in I hate Luv Storys, Bollywood Actor Imran Khan has indirectly promoted the title of Kabir Sadanand’s next film, and what do you know… Kabir is not complainingDirector Kabir Sadanand seems to have comically benefited from the film I hate Luv Storys, which is all set to release today.Apparently, throughout the film, lead actor Imran Khan mouths dialogue that have the word Fugly in them. Fugly happens to be Kabir’s forthcoming film. Kabir had planned an entire marketing strategyaround the film and its title, so that a curious audience would interpret the word themselves.

Our source said, “Kabir and Indepth Productions had planned an entiremarketing strategy to promote the title of the film. They had even tied up with an electronic media channel to run a contest about the title of the film. And now their entire marketing strategy has gone for a toss. However they are not complaining.”When contacted, Kabir Sadanand said, “Yes I have just heard that Imran keeps on mouthing the word Fugly right throughout his film. I have not seen the film yet but I guess it’s nice publicity for us. We were going to spend loads of money to establish the title of the film.But now that’s being done for us free of charge and who better than the youth icon Imran Khan to be doing it! I want I hate Luv Storys to be a huge hit for two reasons; firstly for the film industry which is in doldrums and secondly for the simple fact that the title of my film will be promoted everywhere.”When asked about the casting of Fugly, Kabir said, “The films starts in August and we will make an official announcement then

Bollywood News: In an upcoming movie on the genesis of the Mumbai underworld,Bollywood Actress Kangna Ranaut is said to be sporting 12 different looks, complete with 12 different wigs, upon which a whopping amount of Rs 20 lakh (US$ 50,000) has been spent so farThe enormous amount of money was spent for her role in the movie, “Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai.”Kangna Ranaut’s role in the movie is inspired by the legendary heroine of yesteryears’ Bollywood, Madhubala. Ajay Devgn: Budgets fail, not the films

Each of the top guns from the past and present– whether it is Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Saif Ali Khan  – has at least one solo blockbuster to his credit. These are the kind of films that have done phenomenal business across the country and brought moolah in the access of 50 crores. In fact even relative newcomers like Ranbir Kapoor (AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI) and Imran Khan (JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA) have smashed records as far as a 50 crores runner is concerned. However, the only actor who still hasn’t given a single solo blockbuster which has netted over 50 crores is Ajay Devgn.

One wonders if it is a part of Ajay’s strategy where he has kept things in check by making films in reasonable budget and ensuring guaranteed returns instead of going ahead with those 40-50-60 crore ventures.

Shahrukh Khan and Aamir In one single film

Some coffee is brewing between the 3 Idiots megastar Aamir Khan and the renowned director Karan Johar and the hot smoke bellowing out is, certainly, sending warm signals. Tabloids were in for an astonishing delight when Karan Johar was spotted gelling well with the emperor Aamir during the recent music release of his Peepli Live.

But eyebrows are now rising fast almost touching the hairline as Aamir gears up to attend Karan’s party thrown for the celebration of his success I Hate Luv Storys. Of course, the flick stars Aamir’s bhaanja (nephew) Imran but apparently, Aamir shall be the only one outside the cast & crew to be gracing the occasion.

Indiatimes reports, “Karan and Aamir were hardly acquaintances till very recently. And they have now become close friends. After Karan made his appearances at Aamir’s party for Gustavo and attended the music release of Peepli Live, things are clearer by the minute. Now Karan has invited Aamir to this party.”

aKran, reportedly, personally telephoned the Ghajini actor who has cordially accepted the invitation. Their recent closeness is germinating gossips of something fishy lurking beneath the waters. Are they working on a project or do they secretly wish to team up with each other?

Though, Karan casts Shahrukh Khan in all his mega films, it would be a pleasant change if he ropes Aamir in for one. And it would be heavenly, if he can finally do the thinkable……..if he can make Aamir and SRK work together in one single film………

Prince to Take Aamir’s Place

Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor starred Bollywood super hit Hindi film “3 Idiots” is being remade in Telugu and Tamil languages by Gemini Film Circuit in “Robo” Shankar’s direction. News is that in Telugu Prince Mahesh Babu will play the role which Aamir Khan played in Hindi and the same will be played by Vijay in Tamil. Madhavan will play in Telugu and Tamil versions the same role which he did in Hindi. The remake will be launched in the month of September, after “Robo” hits the screens.

Abhishek pairs up with Katrina

Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif would soon be seen together on the silver screen, after a hiatus of about five years. They will be seen as a couple, much in love with each other in as many as three forthcoming films.They would be seen romancing together in the sequel Dostana 2 right after Katrina returns in the initial week of August so as to shoot for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Abhishek Bachchan and Katrina Kaif will shoot a song together in Mumbai, which will be followed by a long stint in London. Earlier, the two actors have only done one movie together, Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar.Katrina, however, reveals that she hardly knows Abhishek, but whatever little she knows, she has liked and is excited to do projects with him.

Deepika Padukone’s love for body art touches new heights

Deepika Padukone, it seems, loves to get inked. The actress, who is yet to get rid of the famous ‘RK’ tattoo on her back, has now got an anklet tattoo inscribed on her left ankle.

And even though her latest inking might seem as her attempt to divert her attention from the famous RK pinning on her neck, sources suggest it is Dips love for tattoos that make her bear the pain involved in the process.

According to reports, Dips got her recent inking while she was on a vacation in London. Talking about Dips tattoo a source said, “While there, she suddenly decided to get a tattoo done. She was very excited about the tattoo and sat through the process easily. Since she has got one done before this, she knew how to handle the pain”.

Confirming the news about her new tattoo, Dips said, “I am not revealing when and where I got it done. But yes, it is a new tattoo. Obviously, you have not seen this before. This is the most painful place to get a tattoo done. And I love it.”

Vidya Balan asks more money

Vidya Balan is out of Inder Kumar’s next Dhamaal 2 . The buzz in the trade is that Vidya was neither too happy with the money she was being offered for her role, nor with the role per se. A source says, “Vidya asked for a price which she deserves after she catapulted to the top bracket of actors, post the success of Paa and Ishqiya . She asked for Rs 1.5 crore (approximately). Like any other actor would in her place, she too has hiked up her market price.”

According to the filmindustry standards, the market prices of Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are believed to be Rs 1.5 crore (approximately) and that of Priyanka Chopra’s around Rs 1 crore. Hence, given Vidya’s career graph in Bollywood, it is surprising that neither Inder Kumar nor Ashok Thakeria, the producer of the film, objected to Vidya’s exit from the film. “Inder and Ashok failed to understand the need of the hour. Despite discussions, the makers of the film and the actress could not meet at a common consensus,” adds the source.

Meanwhile, Vidya’s friend insists the actress quit the project for qualitative reasons. She stands up for Vidya and says, “Yes, the news is true. Vidya is definitely not doing Dhamaal 2. But that’s simply because she didn’t find any meat in the portrayal of her character. She would have loved to attempt comedy with this film but it’s okay. There is always a next time.”

Interestingly, Vidya has locked horns with her Dhamaal 2 co-star Kangna Ranaut in another film Bullet Train, which is to be directed by Priyadarshan. Bullet Train, which stars Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, is largely going to be shot on a train from London to Glasgow.

Producer of Bullet Train, Ratan Jain has clearly worked out the economics of his film much in advance. He has no qualms in giving the lead role to the actress who is willing to settle for the price he has to offer. He confirms, “Between Vidya and Kangna, whoever agrees to do the role at a lesser price, will get to play the part in my film. The availability of dates will of course be another important factor.”

Sonam is a great kisser

Sonam Kapoor has chosen her home production Aisha for her first on-screen smooch with Abhay Deol. The comfort level between the two ensured there was no awkwardness.

Abhay, like Emraan Hashmi, has had his share of liplocking with his actresses in Dev D, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local.

Salman will now fund for education of underprivileged girls

Salman visited Sri Lanka on two occasions. One for an awards ceremony and the second visit was for shooting of his forthcoming movie ‘Ready’ with Asin as the female lead. He was too overwhelmed by the love and adulation showered upon him by the locals and so he has taken up the cause very sincerely.

Previously, Salman had arranged for doctors to do cataract operations for the financially poor in the war-torn areas like Jaffna in Sri Lanka. And now, the actor plans to fund the education to a selected few right up to the college. His charity will set up a team to search for the talents who need this support.

After this, he takes the step to correct his fathers’ all illegal works and returns the money to owners. To know how he does this entire thing, you will have to buy tickets. The story of Leader is very simple but will touch your heart

Movie Review: Ye Maya Chesave

‘Ye Maaya Chesaavu’ is unlike any desi romantic comedy, with a vision so wondrously off-kilter that you’ll be swept off your feet by it, even if you don’t fall in love at first sight. The film plays like a writer’s scrap pile of good ideas, personal growing up experiences, and love for masala movies all mixed together in one project that director Gautham Menon seems to have made for the pure fun of it.This offbeat Telugu feature, starring newbies Naga Chaitanya and Samantha is consistently interesting, always intelligent and surprisingly provocative in the most unexpected of ways. No doubt ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ is a very idiosyncratic take on the genre, but it works because of Menon’s ability to challenge viewer expectations. The product is joyfully alive with possibility, from a filmmaker willing to take big gambles and force them to pay off, and with a lead actor (Chaitanya) who has the courage to redefine his dubious ‘Josh’ image. ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ is easily one of the best and most exciting Telugu movies of all time, it signals the arrival of a metamorphosis in the tired, often tread desi romantic fillum formula.The force of the film derives from its interesting characters and the unconventional romantic angle that we have come to love and adore. Boy (Naga Chaitanya) is a college grad with dreams of becoming a filmmaker. He is besotted by his upstairs neighbour (Samantha) who happens to be a tad older and a Malayali Christian. Girl too falls for him, but her father fixes her marriage. She can’t go against her family, he can do little about it.

 The remainder of the story follows the Boy’s grit and journey towards achieving his dream of becoming an acclaimed film director, and that’s where the originality sets in. Sure, there are some moments that are disappointingly undernourished but they don’t outweigh the ones with sheer brilliance.AR Rahman’s soundtrack is magical, and together with the gorgeous imagery (M Paramahamsa, Rajeevan) it serves for a visual song of vulnerability, with a rhythm vaulting from discord to harmony and back again in vibrating organic-colored tones, as if the whole film were breathing on its own. ’Ee Hridayam’ in particular is extraordinary what with its swoony lyricism and unearthly vocals. Naga Chaitanya has evolved well post ‘Josh’, and has undoubtedly learned a lot from the maverick director Menon. Samantha’s character is not entirely convincing but her screen presence certainly is.

Final verdict? ‘Ye Maaya Chesave is a giddy delight. Its effect is intoxicating. Anyone in need of some superior escapism should see it straightaway.
